How to Warm a Towel at Home (4 Easy Steps)

So what’s in your dream bathroom? Some would say a well-furnished Jacuzzi, others would say a shower for two, and my friend would say a sink for her and her husband. Well I, on the other hand, would prefer a Warmer.

  • Heated Towel and Drying Towel
  • Quickly Heating, 149°F(65°C)-60Minutes
  • Overheat Protection
  • Bactericidal and Anti-Mildew
  • 3-4 Square meter Heat Radiation
  • Safety and Energy-Saving
  • Uniform Continuous Heat Dissipation

But buying the best towel warmer may not always be the first choice for many in this expensive world. Yes, we love when salon workers put a hot towel on our body, making us feel calm and relaxed, and we want the same feeling at home without paying those costs. So, what to do?

Well, we are here with simple methods to get a towel warmer. And the best part is that you can do this at home with the stuff you already have. Without further ado, let’s get started.

Things Needed to Warm Up Your Towel

  1. Towel / Washcloth
  2. Your favorite essential oil

Step 1: Take the towel or washcloth you want to use

I suggest you use a washcloth if you are using it for your face. If you are using it for your body, a towel will be more effective. It’s not necessary for it to be fancy; take any old towel or washcloth that is soft and convenient to use.

Step 2: Drop Essential Oils onto the Towel

To make the towel feel more relaxing, you can add a few drops of essential oils onto the washcloth/towel. I suggest you choose from eucalyptuslavender, and sandalwood. The prices vary according to the scent you choose.

However, if you have a runny nose and want menthol, then you can opt for the eucalyptus essential oil. If you have Vicks VapoRub sitting in the corner of your bathroom shelf, you can use that too for the same effect. When you have a cold, a Vicks hot towel functions as a nasal decongestant and helps to clear up sinuses. Plus, externally, a Vicks-infused hot towel keeps the skin firm and softens your beard.

If you are using an essential oil, pour 3 to 4 drops onto the towel or washcloth when it’s dry. If you are using Vicks VapoRub, spread a thin layer of it on the center. You don’t need a whole lot, as this stuff is quite powerful when heated up.

Step 3: Heat up the Towel/Washcloth

It’s time to heat up the cloth, which can be done in three different ways. Choose whichever is most convenient for you:

  1. Run the towel under hot water.
  2. Microwave the damp towel (dampen with hot water) for 30 seconds.
  3. Pour hot water from a teapot onto the towel.

Step 4: Use it as you wish

This is self-explanatory. Hold the towel on the desired place and feel the warmth of it. Once it’s no longer warm, remove the towel and redo Step 3. Otherwise, continue with your other tasks.

So, what are you waiting for? Start your day with a hot towel and enjoy the warmth to the fullest.
